Atelier Imprimatura is the studio of James L. Joe and Jacinta O'Brien who are Toronto-based artists working primarily in oils.

 

Personal inspiration is fundamental to their oil painting practice. Whether it be people, places, or marvels of nature, they find beauty in all things. As representational artists their goal is to reveal the true essence and spirit of their subject. 

 

Their work currently hangs in private collections and has been featured in public and juried exhibitions.
